The Purpose of this book is to provide concise, essential, complete & readable information on Infertility. Selection of subject matter and its presentation is based on the experience gained during the Post-graduation and teaching of the students. Stress is also given on Infertility in present time. Clinically also, this is important but it has restrictions and limitations in our society. In Metropolitens, It is running very well by Expert. So they are successful in treatment. Actually now-a-days, there are more cases of Infertility due to many reasons. So we all affected by it, directly or indirectly. Generally it is a serious issue and almost many peoples affected by it. So there should be proper or standard treatment or procedures in all over the India for Infertility. So here our effort to give the significant value to Infertility .

Generally Ayurveda has two aims like “ Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam…Aaturasya Vikara Prashamanam cha.” That means First we have to protect our body from any disorder or disease and after that due to some circumstances, If we suffered from any disease then we have to cure it properly.

This principle also applicable for Infertility that means Firstly we have to protect our body by influencing factors of Infertility as per knowledge of sources or by use of preventive medicine regularly. Otherwise If we affected by Infertility  then we have to apply treatment principle of Infertility. So lastly there should be general awareness programmes of Infertility.

So here Information is arranged according to Ayurvedic classics with modern literature. Here we have described almost all details abot Infertility that mentioned in different Samhitas and modern literature. It is hoped that the Teachers, Medical Practitioner and students will find the book useful for understanding the Concept of Infertility that mentioned in our all Samhitas. Also this concept will be useful in clinical practice. Lastly It is also useful for P.G. Scholars of Prasutitantra for Thesis or Selection of Research topic during M.D.
