Sixteen years of Academic and Research experience in the field of Public Health and Nutrition motivated me to write this book for students pursuing either Under Graduation, Post-Graduation or Research in field of Health, Nutrition or Social Work. The conceptualization of the present volume took place because of interest in this fascinating field of Nutrition Education and Planning programs with scientific outlook for achieving the target of Public Health. Attaining the goal of sound Public Health encompasses successful designing and implementation of Nutrition Education Campaigns. This goes beyond information giving required to foster critical thinking as well as attitudinal change as well as integrated actions ensured by intersectoral collaboration.  It is also recommended that by adopting an evidence based and theory driven approach effectiveness of Nutrition Education can be enhanced and intended outcomes can be reached. Effective education involves making nutrition information digestible and usable in every day life.
