The Truths Yet Untold’ is a sixth book from the pen of Dr Y P Kalra a.k.a Yakshaya K. In this forthcoming book, partly confessional the writer has gone quite far away from poetic creations, aphoristic expressions and has made a long jump into the field of old times that he had faced but now that time is lost in the deep abyss. The book is a collection of several reminiscences of Events that happened in the life of the author. It can be considered as an autobiographical memoir as well. The real and ulterior purpose is to show the readers the people and social norms of a cross-section of the Indian society. It is the people, the parents, the uncles, the teachers, the friends, the religious upbringing and the college professors who taught us during those past years. There is a remarkable hiatus between people in those times of my student life and these present social times of Twenty-first century that has gone forwards by twenty-one years. The author has switched on a mobile camera of his mind into the past real paternal and socially integrated unbroken ties of old days. It was a time when respect for the elderly people was a primary basis of all social dealings? It was a loving person with an untainted character that was highly respected and money possession was not counted as an important consideration. ‘The Truths Yet Untold’ is not a historical autobiography but it is primarily a social and personal familial Kaleidoscope.
