When we talk about the global economy, India is one of its fastest emerging players. Since our liberalization in 1991, the economy has opened up and given us plenty of opportunities to succeed. Indian economy is termed as the developing economy of the world. Some features like low per capita income, higher population below poverty line, poor infrastructure, agriculture based economy and lower rate of capital formation, tagged it as a developing economy in the world.
The Book “Indian Economy” spotlight on economic structure in India. Even after 73 years of Independence we are in the juncture of developing only the reason for this is that there lack of proper planning and management of economic policies and procedures. The development of the nation can be only possible if the economic problems are removed from the grass root level in India.
This book will useful as a source for further reference for the students, scholars and academicians to have a sufficient knowledge about the present situation in the society. The development of the nation can be possible only when the basic needs of the societies are meeting and economic problems are removed from the society. To make Indian a developed country there is a great need to remove economic problems from the Indian economy so as to achieve the development in all aspects in India and all people can enjoy better education, employment and health facilities.
This book consists twenty three chapters examining India’s efforts to become economically strong. It traces the problem, from the inflation, agriculture, agriculture marketing, industry, banking and financial inclusion, self Help Groups, GST, women empowerment, poor public distribution system and reforms in education sector etc. A critical analysis of India’s economy is made in light of present day problems.
