PRINTING MONEY : HOW CURRENCY CONTROLS THE ECON-OMY

This book takes a historical perspective on the growth of the economy and the financial sys-tem. It is only when we understand the past, do we truly get to understand what is happening in the present. Today, people throw a lot of words in the air, asking the government to print more money as it would solve all humanitarian problems. Others say that printing more money only means rising prices. Some people say that high government debt is a burden on future generations. There are con-spiracy theories abound that try to tell a story about how the financial system is intentionally flawed and biased against common people. I think before making such huge claims, we should first under-stand how the financial system works at the funda-mental level.
