It is a group of common problem in present-day society and one that many people strive to solve. It is often the consequence of factors extending beyond an individual’s control. Social issues are the source of a conflicting opinion on the grounds of what is perceived as morally correct or incorrect personal life or interpersonal social life decisions.
This book “Social Issues in India: Causes and Measures” focuses on social problem in India towards its development of the society. Even after 73 years of Independence there is existence of the many sociological problems which leads to other problems. The development of the nation can be only possible if the social problem is removed from the grass root level in India.
This book will be useful as a source for further reference for the students, scholars and academicians to have a sufficient knowledge about the present situation in the society. The development of the nation can be possible only when the basic problems of the societies are removed from the society. There is a need to remove this evil from the society so as to achieve the development in all aspects in India and all people can enjoy better environment for living a healthy and stress free life.
This book consists of twenty four chapters covering different contemporary social issues of Indian economy. It traces the problem, from the emerging concepts and theories, immoral issues, social & economic issues, health issues, rural development vs urbanization and environment & sustainable issues are outlined. The women empowerment and role of media and culture are also covered. A critical analysis of government initiatives for development and education challenges and reforms is made in light of present day problems.
